IFN 2009 Issuers & Investors Asia Forum
Now in its fourth year, the IFN 2009 Issuers & Investors Asia Forum
(formerly known as the MIF Forum) will be held from the 3rd to the 5th
August at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur. Following the phenomenal
success of the past three forums, it will again draw on the experience
and expertise of the industry’s elite to promote insightful, exploratory and
thoughtful discussion on Islamic fi nance today.
The name change this year is to refl ect the growing importance of Islamic
fi nance, against a global backdrop of socially responsible investing, in
countries all over Asia. The inaugural forum, which took place in 2006,
received an excellent response from the global Islamic fi nance industry.
Since then, with over 1,000 delegates attending the event annually, the
forum has developed into the industry’s largest and most infl uential
gathering.
To add further value to the IFN 2009 Issuers & Investors Asia Forum, a
Takaful & re-Takaful day will be held on the third day to update delegates
on the latest developments in the Islamic insurance industry.
